This graph shows that as impervious cover increases, there is a corresponding increase in phosphorus delivered by stormwater as well. The lines illustrate input load (in red) and two scenarios of the corresponding load using stormwater treatment practices of different removal capability. At about 60% impervious cover, even with the best practices, the phosphorous load exceeds background levels.
