Notes:
Trace metals are frequently found in urban stormwater and sometimes at concentrations that can be acutely toxic to aquatic life. In nearly every stormwater sample, one generally will find zinc, copper and lead. Hydrocarbons such as PAHs, zinc, copper, cadmium, and lead are known to accumulate in the tissue of fish. In some cases, this may make the fish unsuitable for human consumption.
This advertisement was produced to educate the public on the problems that are associated with heavy metal pollution.
